Almost Friday: Mother’s Day Edition

Almost Friday: Mother’s Day Edition

There are holidays in this country that often get glanced over, while some get a little too much recognition. In a world driven by “fun” and opportunity it’s quite easy to get pulled away from deep thinking, from remembering and giving thanks. Often times it takes tragedy before gratitude can become a defining characteristic for many men and women, but we can definitely change that.

Before I ramble on with the tough news, lovey-dovey stuff any longer, let’s cut to the chase – I’m serious let’s get there. I’m ready. No cap! This one goes out to the Moms – tink! (wine glass cheers at 7:49am)

No matter how you show your mom love this Sunday – phone call (no texting this year y’all), USPS, flowers or other gifts – just remember how that woman brought you to life, held you in her arms, taught you how to handle pain and cherish the good times.  She worked and cooked and cleaned and took you to ballet and baseball. She went to bed late helping you research colleges and woke up early to cook you bacon and eggs (maybe tofu for some of y’all – yikes!)

Go return that love on Sunday.

In closing, motherhood transcends mankind. Let’s take this to the animal kingdom and remember just how wonderful this world really is.

All the best,

Clayton
